Setup
Have the 1st player deploy all ships and squadrons as normal. Then, have the 1st player place an amount of objective tokens equal to the amount of ships the 2nd player has anywhere on the board beyond distance 5 of all edges. Once this is done, the 2nd player may move each objective token distance 1 in any direction. Once this is done, the 2nd player may deploy all ships and squadrons. Ships must be deployed at distance 1 of the objective tokens and squadrons must be deployed at distance 1 of any ship.
Special Rules
When activating a ship after the 3rd round, the 1st player may choose to discard the command dial. Any ship that does this may not move or attack this round, but hyperspaces away during the status phase. Squadrons may do the same, forfeiting all movement and attacks during the squadron phase, and hyperspacing away during the status phase.
End of Game
The total score of the 1st player is found by adding up all the point values of the ships and squadrons that belonged to the 1st player that hyperspaced away.
