This is a superheavy battleship, heavier than the Imperial-class Star Destroyer. I'm not sold on Speed 3. Playtests, comments and critiques are welcome. This ship is part of a personal program I'm calling the New Class Modernization Program Phase 2Sister ship to Allegiance-class Dreadnought http://kdyards.com/ships.view.php?id=1121

In order, yes, this ship is intended as an even heavier Imperial battleship than the Imperial class. They're meant be equal or superior in every way except squadron capability. I'm not a fan of Squadron 0, since that negates part of the command dial, but a mere squadron 1, and no Offensive Retrofit, the ship will have trouble moving fighters efficiently. The double Officer slot was something of a throwaway, and the lack of Turbo is to try to keep this ship from being able to blow away everything in one pass. For myself, I'm actually not sure that this version shouldn't lose Support Team and go up to Speed 3. Speed 2 is pretty damn hard to justify a ship with, even a supership like this one. Hopefully one of these will see action in the next couple days so we'll have some data/opinions.

Oh and I agree with the lack of speed 3. Maybe do that to the other one to and don't include a support team?

So basically these two designs (the Dreadnought and this one) are just bigger versions of the ISD-1 and 2?That makes sense, as according to Wookiepedia it was just a more souped up version of an ISD-1. I wouldn't let either of the Allegiances have squadron values, cause references on the same site say that it lacked the ability to house its own fighter support.I dig the lack of Turbo upgrade, but I'm not sure about the double officer slot. The point value seems to fit for me too. I may be able to playtest this at some point (I have a ton of other stuff to do though) and I'm participating in a vassal tournament.
