I like this version better. Looking forward to seeing the title cards. Would it be ok if you gave some opinions on some of my cards etc as you are profoundly more experienced in this field than I?

Ok so the re-work thinking is as follows. Pretend the anti-squadron armament represents the only weapons it has. Turbolasers or not it limits the ships weapons to defense only. By having no offensive weapons at all, it also lets the ship focus on the job it is supposed to do, and limits the weapon officer choices to relevant options to being a carrier. Although this puts the ship in a rather limited role, that is exactly its function.

I agree on all points. I was just getting too tired to go further, afternoon shift sucks. Consider it a template or place holder. I will work on titles and the like tonight at 3am so it should be interesting.I don't even want it to have 3 defense tokens, there is no reason it has to either. My primary concern is how a small cheap carrier will be recieved in game.

With only two light turb batteries on the entire ship d'you think any Anti-squad armament should be there?I like the idea although I think the point cost is a bit too high. Lets compare to the Cr90 A. (Cr90A : Quasar-class)2 red dice and 1 blue : 1 red front , 1 red 1 blue : 0 side , 1 red : 0 back. 1 comm each, 1 squad : 3 , 2:2 engineering.The cr90 can go twice as fast. Same hull although the Quasar's def. tokens are superior.Upgardes: Officer - Officer, Support Team - Weapons team, Defensiive - offensive, Turbolaser - Cargo.The Quaser costs 4 points less. Same shields.These are my thoughts. Drop the AA armament. Drop a Rdr for contain (It's as powerful as a VSD otherwise in terms of defense tokens). I was thinking drop the weapons team slot but Flight controllers would be nice, although you could have a title card that does something similar maybe?Then I would reduce the point cost to 36 I think.
